Reversals are a great way to ‘wow’ your reader. As a rule, they’re toward the end of the book, and they’re a great way to keep your reader turning pages. So what is a reversal? One great example is the steady push toward a goal, but then the goal is totally wrong. Johnny uses the Darth Vader/Luke Skywalker ‘Luke, I am your father’ moment.
